Senior Scout, Joe Dempsey

Senior Scout, Joe Dempsey, constructed a trellis over the main area of the resident vegetable garden and created two new smaller planting boxes for spices and herbs to grow for our Center Kitchen.

Joe also built a privacy fence around the kitchen freezer and refrigerator compressors - creating a better view and blocking out some of the excess noise to create a more peaceful courtyard setting.

The project was created and completely constructed by soon to be Eagle Scott, Joe Dempsey. This special project for our Center House Courtyard is not only lovely, but it's exceptional! Joe did such a FANTASTIC job!

Father Bob, the staff, the volunteers and the residents of Center House are very proud of Joe's care, work and creation of this finished garden project.

Joe's hard work adds more life and color to the courtyard. Please stop by The Center to see Joe's handy work!

Sometime in February, Joe plans to build two Adirondack Chairs and donate them to Center House in memory of his grandfather, who recently passed away.
